On Tuesday, my Care Plan Meeting was held at the rehab place. We (Gail, John and I) met with the care director, my main nurse, my physical therapist and one other lady (activities director?).
The first thing we noticed was a mismatch between their records and my actual progress. They thought I could walk unassisted and go to the bathroom by myself. Wrong! We explained that I could walk with my walker when I got here, but cannot now.
Then I reminded them about needing prune juice at every meal (doctor's orders!), and that I had to wait a long time to get help to go to the bathroom early this morning.
We think they were a little disappointed with the tone of the meeting...
Did they expect you to be more obsequious and grateful? Rather than telling them what they needed to do better?
